Hi again,

Thought it might be time to post an update!

Seems like a long time since the last post and exciting news to share! Again it looks like I'm lucky enough to have the opportunity for more travel this year with a few trips to the Philippines and an exciting holiday in Nepal planned for October.... so lucky :-)

Best news though is that I have finally booked in for a new exhibition at the wonderful Braemar Gallery (Springwood, Blue Mountains) from the 31st August to the 16th September. The opening will be on Sat 1st September, but more on that later. So...... I've busy painting the new series and am really pleased with the brave new direction I've taken. I guess I've always hoped that I could continue to evolve as an artist, after all, it's all about the journey. I still have the same passion for colour, movement, and texture.... these are still strong themes within my work.... I hope you like them.

Hi everyone,

Well... finally have time to put down some thoughts after a busy few months.

Firstly.... the Braemar exhibition in early Feb was a great success with 9 of my paintings selling. Always sad in some ways to see some of my "friends" leaving but great to see them going to some great homes. To be honest, the feedback I gained at the exhibition was, at times, a little overwhelming. But ultimately, it was an incredibly uplifting experience and I'm ever so thankful for the wonderful support of the Blue Mountains (and beyond) communities.

More recently I've had a house move and am busy setting up a wonderful new studio...can't wait. I'm so lucky to finally be able to set up a large dedicated space for my work.... it's forced me to "down brushes" for a while so I'm itching to get back into it.

Finally... we're lucky enough to be flying over to the Philippines again for a couple of weeks. It will be great to catch up with some old friends as well as make some new acquaintences. Aside from Manila, we'll be visiting Tuguegarao and Tacloban city.

I'm really looking forward to commencing a new series of work and begin planning for a new exhibition. Keep checking the website as I'll be uploading some pics of my new work as they come to hand.
